About the founder
Good Talk Speech & Language Therapy was founded by Erica Wesley, M.A., CCC-SLP.
Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska (Go Huskers!), Erica earned her Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from the University of San Diego. She went on to complete her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology at San Diego State University.
Her clinical experience ranges from toddlers to adults with experience in outpatient hospitals, schools, and private clinics. While she has worked with clients of all ages, her heart is in pediatric speech therapy- helping children build confidence, connect with others, and express themselves clearly.
At Good Talk, therapy is grounded in evidence-based practice and delivered through playful, engaging, and child-centered sessions that children actually look forward to. Families are active partners in the Good Talk process. By working closely with parents and caregivers, Good Talk ensures that skills learned in therapy carry over into everyday life.
Our goal is simple: to create a supportive, encouraging space where children feel confident using their voice and parents feel empowered to help them grow.
